Just off your balcony is 50 yards of grassy bluffs.  There are multiple trails across the bluff that will take you down to the beach.  To the south is Pudding Creek Beach. There you will find the 545 foot long Pudding Creek Trestle climbing 44 feet above you. Built from 1915 through 1917, the Union Lumber Company built a railroad to transport logs from 10 Mile River to Fort Bragg. There were 5 trestles altogether but the Pudding Creek Trestle is the last whole one standing.

There are long expanses of beach great for picnics, kite flying, and long walks. Before heading back to your room, you might want to check out the trails across the bluffs. Finding pocket beaches, spotting the spry ground squirrels, or just finding a spot to sit above the calming waves. Many would agree the bluffs are the best spot to be during the breathtaking sunsets.
