Welcome to the Surf & Sand Lodge!
Current Happenings
We are anxiously awaiting the first of the California Gray Whales as they begin the first leg of their annual migration. Over 20,000 whales will pass by twice between December and April—first heading south to Baja California for birthing, and then returning to Alaska in the spring with the newborn whales. Since they stay pretty close to the shore, you can see whale spouts from our entire property.
Welcome to the Surf & Sand Lodge in Fort Bragg, CA, located on Northern California’s rugged and spectacular Mendocino Coast. Surf & Sand Lodge provides the ideal location from which to explore Fort Bragg, the adjacent state park, and the Mendocino Coast.
